Auction Rehearsal Meeting
Gail will probably want to watch the FB game, and we'll be busy Sunday morning, but other than that should be available. Denny

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
Folks, I split this thread out of the auction announcement thread in the Events section. We've got publicity all over the place pointing to that thread for user information. We really need to keep the behind-the-scenes business discussion of the auction in Auction Planning and out of the announcement thread.
Last year, we closed the Auction Planning section after the auction. After this auction is over, we should probably consider eliminating the Auction Planning section for good. For some reason, auction planning posts never seem to end up here. There aren't that many of them, so they could transfer to the Club Business section. Or maybe convert Auction Planning to a plain ol' Auctions section, where at least I could set the posts directed at users as sticky, so that they stay at the top where users can find them easily without wading through the behind-the-scenes planning chatter.

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
Let me know what you decide. I was going to have my nephew over helping with the firewood Saturday morning/early afternoon if that doesn't interfere (and the weather is good). Let me know as soon as you decide. Denny

Checking with Sundance to see if he's available and maybe get some firewood if there's any left

Got a hold of Sundance. Either day works for him. Pick one. He needs to know if he needs to bring a chainsaw.

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
I've got quite a bit cut to 16", and more that's probably 6-8'. Take his pick. I'll be available all day Saturday or Sunday afternoon working around our auction meeting. Denny

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
What have we decided on the practice meeting? Whoever is hosting should pick the time and day. Denny

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
Well, that would work for us. Okay. How about 2pm Saturday? That way you and Sundance could come early or stay late to get the firewood. I'm thinking around an hour plus or minus unless you've got a lot we need to go over. Denny

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
Not going to make the rehearsal meeting. I'm still trying to figure out how I am going to manage to be there for the auction AND the meeting. May not be able to make the meeting. Heck, I'm so busy I can't even seem to keep up with the forum.

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
I'll be at part of the auction but not the meeting. I hope we have some other auctioneers since Kevin isn't coming!

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
sounds like you're it. I talked to Mike Meyer but it didn't sound promising. He may have other commitments.

Re: Auction Rehearsal Meeting
There is a very good possibility that Mark will be coming along to help. I wouldn't expect him to auction anything off, but if he comes he will help me with the tickets.
