Sadly, most of the photo links in this forum are now broken, due to the gallery2 software being obsolete and incompatible with the current operating system. Eventually, we hope to replace the gallery software with something newer, and may be able to restore some of them.

Remote Flash for Fish Photography
Those who have seen me shooting fish pictures know that I use a gizmo, the Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander on top of my camera. It's a unit that sends signals to an unlimited number of remote Nikon flash units. (Remote flash works so much better than on-camera flash.) But it's $250, which isn't cheap. The nikonrumor.com site has just posted information on a third-party device, the Debao SU-800, that clones the functions of Nikon's SU-800 for under $100. It actually claims to have more power and a longer range. So if you've ever wanted one of these devices, but couldn't afford it, now might be your opportunity.
