Sadly, most of the photo links in this forum are now broken, due to the gallery2 software being obsolete and incompatible with the current operating system. Eventually, we hope to replace the gallery software with something newer, and may be able to restore some of them.
Well, I scored some R. Hengli at PetCo in their rasbora tank and it turns out they're very photogenic. Stupid camera can't take a decent picture of anything else really. But here's some of my fish for you
Henglis
Cichlids
Guppies
Assassin snail (who has since disappeared again)
Chocolate Gourami
Dwarf Rainbows
Bumblebee Goby:
What a coincidence! I just bought six of them at Worlds Under Water yesterday. I would have bought up to 50, had they had more. Which Petco has them and are there any left? Nice shot of the fish, by the way!
sskruzr: it's this camera right here: http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-EasyShare-Digital-Camera-Black/dp/B0021XW3YU/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_2
The zoom is fantastic (although I shoot in manual mode for fish and focus it by hand). The only problem I've run into is that the focus motor thingy is broken and I can ONLY take macro shots. Not sure why but it's really annoying! It's only 6 months old. My best guess is I accidentally jarred it too much this summer traveling all over the place OR I got sand in it at the beach.
mewickham: it was the Petco on 40th and Walnut. They were an accidental shipment in with the regular rasboras and I made the employee fish every single one of them out She was game though. Unfortunately, I picked up the only 5 in the tank. I wish there were more because they are fantastic little fish. One of my favorites and I've had them a whole week (my family likes them because they're Heritage colors-- orange and navy). It sounds like I really need to visit WUW!
