Just getting back into the hobby, I am finding it a bit of a challenge to find stores to patronize. Big box stores are easy enough to find, but it's the independent stores who are the ones I prefer to do business with. That said, would it be possible for someone to post a list of independent stores with addresses within say, the four state area for us newbies? For instance, I'm planning a trip to Fayetteville later in the week and would like to check out a store or two. Never shopped for fish in Fayetteville and would like to know where to go. Same for Springdale and Rogers, etc.
Thanks!
Lyn

Lyn, on what day you come down and if it is just a family trip I may be interested in joining you and could help you find the stores. I'm off of work on Wednesday and Thursday.

Re: List of Local Stores
We actually have the locations along with addresses of all the local stores on the portal page (it's just new). All the local stores are within relatively short driving times from each other, so you can see them all easily. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Re: List of Local Stores
Check out the new "Map of Local Shops" in the left-hand menu block on the Portal page. It lists all known shops within about an hour of Rogers, Arkansas (the club's home base). It also tells you whether each is an aquarium, pet, or pond shop.
I'm also working on a "Map of Regional Shops" that will extend further out. I''ll post a notice when I get it finished.

Duh. Thanks guys! I never even saw that link on the portal page, but I do now. Just the ticket. Don't know exactly what day yet, but will be Wednesday or Thursday for sure.
