OK well hear goes. I have ordered special some fish that I wanted.
if you want them tell me before I buy them and take them home.
yes I buy them at retail to give everyone a fair chance.

sorry I'm holding off on GBR and celestial pearl danios because of possible genetic or other defects.

the order has been made and we should get it today 11/30/07.

yea we have one but I talked to him at the store and I think he might want more than one.

what other names besides geophagus fit in to the category?

Microgeophagus - though you don't see it used much anymore
Gymnogeophagus - smaller cousins, more colorful, IMO.

I am interested in the Brasiliensis if it is not what I already have. I have what I know to be now as a "Geo" Bahia. I bought it at WUW from Craig. He stated it was in the Geo family but came in with no other specification.

Lartacara dorsigera is a dwarf South American cichlid. It is not a close relative of the geophagus group. They look very nice when colored up and happy (aka breeding) otherwise they are a little drab.

Very attractive when in breeding colors. Very deep red. Similar to L. curviceps which tends to be more yellow. Excellent fish for someone just starting with cichlids. Attractive, stays small, and is relatively easy to breed. Also good for cichlid people who don't have large tanks. Not overly aggressive. One of my favorites. Denny

could you order some german blue rams, a male and two females for me.

need some tank mates for angel fish recommended, too.

could you get any dwarf neon rainbow fish?

do you have any anubias, java fern and java moss handy?
